THE IMPARTIAL GOD

Good day people of God, its a beautiful day and i believe we are glad and rejoicing in it. Without wasting your time, i will quickly jump into the day's message. Our Bible reading for today is from Numbers 27:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 27:6 "And the Lord said to Moses, 'the daughters of Zelophehad are right; you shall give them possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren and cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them'."
To be impartial means to not favor one more than the other. In our today's reading, we read the story of the 'daughters of Zelophehad who had no son before he died. At the time Moses took the census of the children of Israel as commanded by God and also had given the portions of the land tribe by tribe. The daughters of Zelophehad approached Moses saying "why should the name of our father be taken away from his family because he had no son? Moses inquired of the Lord and the Lord answered as seen in our memory verse today.
The second part of our reading had the story of Joshua's appointment as the leader of the Israelites after Moses. In our today's reading, the Lord took Moses up to the Mount of Abarim, showed him the land He (God) had give to the Israelites. The Lord also told Moses that after seeing the land he shall die and Moses said to the Lord, "Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation." Moses gave God the chance to choose the man He deemed fit to lead the people of Israel and the Lord choose Joshua saying, "Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit and lay your hand upon him."
Hear me, all through the journey from Egypt Joshua has been an assistant to Moses, he was among the spies that went to spy the promised land but was not among those that brought the evil report. It was never recorded that Joshua went against his master Moses neither did he ever rebel against Moses knowing the type of temper Moses has and the fact that he is human and has the tendency to make mistakes. Joshua was loyal to his master to the end. You must also know that Joshua is from the tribe of Ephraim, going by the order of seniority it would not have been Joshua but God choose him.
One would ask, why did God choose Joshua, who would have managed the children of Israel better than the man that managed Moses. To be someone's assistant implies managing the person in virtually all ramification. If we understand the person of Moses we would appreciate Joshua his assistant. God does not appoint whom He has not tested. Joshua was obedient, humble, and efficient and these earned him the leadership position God gave him.
The impartiality of God denotes that God takes into consideration the minutest detail of our lives and that is why His judgment is unquestionable.
Have you put in so much in that job and your promotion is being denied?
Have you toiled honestly in that business and it refused to break even talk more of grow and expand?
I have good news for you, the impartial God that i serve must give you what is due to you in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.
