Good day people of God, hope your day is going very well? Mine has been splendid and i give God the praise for counting me worthy to be alive in the land of the living to testify to His goodness.
The message for today is a tough one but i pray that God will give us clarity as we read through in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Our Bible reading for today is from Numbers 35:1-end, and our memory verse is Numbers 35:33 "So you shall not pollute the land in which you live; for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it." Hallelujah!
Our God is indeed a good God. Let me not get too excited, so join me as we go through the statue and ordinance regarding murder and the punishment due to a murderer. In our Bible reading today, the Lord spoke to Moses concerning the Levites in respect of the portion of land that should be earmarked for them. In verse 9 the Lord spoke to Moses concerning cities that should be set aside as city of refuge for those who mistakenly kill someone. The Lord made it clear that it is not a mistake if;
God understands the pain one feels when you loose a relative and the fact that if the relative is murdered could amount to one going for revenge. God in His wisdom therefore instructed that the people should appoint refuge cities when offenders can go and seek refuge to avoid more shedding of blood.
Today's message deals with the place Jesus took in His rescue of humanity. First of all we agree as our memory verse stated that the only atonement for blood being shed is the blood of the one who shed it. This means that as a single girl if you have committed abortion three times, you need to shed your blood three times to atone for your sin. If you have killed three persons, your blood is needed in three portions for an atonement to be made. Imagine if Jesus did not come to shed His blood for our sins, we might have been wiped out and the earth would have been emptied.
The exchange therefore is the fact that Jesus Christ who knew no sin died in the place of we sinners and His blood is used for the atonement of our sins.
Is this Jesus not worthy of our praise and thanksgiving for the wonderful work He did for us on the cross of calvary? I implore you to take a minute and worship the Lord for this wonderful exchange that has preserved our lives and given us the privilege to be with Him in eternity.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

- a person throw stone to his fellow man and that leads to his death.
- a person smite his fellow man with a hand weapon of wood and that leads to his death.
