TRANSFER OF INHERITANCE

Good morning people of God, its a privilege to see the end of January 2019. A lot of people started the month but are not alive to see the end of the month, we are here in the land of the living witnessing the end of January 2019. The daily message from God on this blog is One Month old today and by the grace of God it is has been wonderful and insightful. I want to quickly appreciate my readers and encourage you to never give up on God for everything may fail you but God never fails. I also want to encourage you my readers to bring forward your own contributions and understanding for the word of God says iron sharpeneth iron.

Today's Bible reading is from the book of Numbers 36:1-end and coincidentally this is the last chapter of the book of Numbers. Our memory verse is from Numbers 36:7 "So shall no inheritance of the Israelites be transfered from tribe to tribe, for every one of the Israelites shall cling to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers."
The story in our bible reading today is a re-visitation of  the story of the daughters of Zelophehad, we remember in Numbers 26 how the daughters of Zelophehad approached Moses asking if their father's inability to have male children will make him loose his inheritance. Moses inquired of the Lord and the Lord said the daughters should have their father's inheritance. Here in the passage for today's reading, the kinsmen of Zelophehad brought a petition before Moses saying that the Lord instructed that the land owned by our brother Zelophehad be given to his daughters, but if they marry from another tribe, the land will go with them to the tribe into which they marry, In this way, the total area of our tribal land will be reduced. Moses acknowledged that the brothers of Zelophehad were right and according to the word of God commanded that the daughters of Zelophehad are free to marry whosoever they want but it must be within the tribe of their father.
It is one thing to receive from God an inheritance, its another thing to keep the inheritance, be accountable for it and pass it on to the right person/custodian.
What is an inheritance? An inheritance is a permanent valuable possession or blessing received without purchase. In our bible story the inheritance in question is land, as children of God our inheritance starts with salvation, virtues, goodness and ends with eternal life with God. Just like our memory verse clearly states these inheritance is not to be transfered from tribe to tribe, it is to remain within the tribe. In life there exists different tribe, the tribe of the lion of Judah and the tribe of Lucifer. And divine inheritance can be transfered through communing with people of other tribe by friendship or marriage, once this relationship is established transfer of inheritance is very easy, little wonder the bible says in 2Corinthians 6:14, we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
Our God does not engage Himself in an unprofitable business, He guards His own jealously and He expects us His children to do the same. For that which we have received from Him we must keep in tact. Our attitude and association must be in form so that we don't transfer our divine inheritance to another tribe.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

THE EXCHANGE

Good day people of God, hope your day is going very well? Mine has been splendid and i give God the praise for counting me worthy to be alive in the land of the living to testify to His goodness.
The message for today is a tough one but i pray that God will give us clarity as we read through in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Our Bible reading for today is from Numbers 35:1-end, and our memory verse is Numbers 35:33 "So you shall not pollute the land in which you live; for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it." Hallelujah!
Our God is indeed a good God. Let me not get too excited, so join me as we go through the statue and ordinance regarding murder and the punishment due to a murderer. In our Bible reading today, the Lord spoke to Moses concerning the Levites in respect of the portion of land that should be earmarked for them. In verse 9 the Lord spoke to Moses concerning cities that should be set aside as city of refuge for those who mistakenly kill someone. The Lord made it clear that it is not a mistake if;

  1. a person smite his fellow man with an instrument of iron and that leads to his death.
  2. a person throw stone to his fellow man and that leads to his death.
  3. a person smite his fellow man with a hand weapon of wood and that leads to his death.
The Lord also made it clear that the only eligible avenger is the relative of the person murdered. But He also mentioned instances where a person may die in the hands of someone and the person did not intend to kill. The city of refuge therefore is meant for individuals that committed murder unintentionally.
God understands the pain one feels when you loose a relative and the fact that if the relative is murdered could amount to one going for revenge. God in His wisdom  therefore instructed that the people should appoint refuge cities when offenders can go and seek refuge to avoid more shedding of blood.
Today's message deals with the place Jesus took in His rescue of humanity. First of all we agree as our memory verse stated that the only atonement for blood being shed is the blood of the one who shed it. This means that as a single girl if you have committed abortion three times, you need to shed your blood three times to atone for your sin. If you have killed three persons, your blood is needed in three portions for an atonement to be made. Imagine if Jesus did not come to shed His blood for our sins, we might have been wiped out and the earth would have been emptied.
The exchange therefore is the fact that Jesus Christ who knew no sin died in the place of we sinners and His blood is used for the atonement of our sins.
Is this Jesus not worthy of our praise and thanksgiving for the wonderful work He did for us on the cross of calvary? I implore you to take a minute and worship the Lord for this wonderful exchange that has preserved our lives and given us the privilege to be with Him in eternity.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

DOGGED LOYALTY

Good morning people of God. Its another great and beautiful day the Lord has made and we must rejoice and be glad in it, am rejoicing in it already, how about you?
Our reading today covers Numbers 29-34 and our memory verse is Numbers 31:2 "Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people." To be gathered unto thy people in this parlance means to die.
From Numbers 29, we see Moses religiously and committedly attending to his duties as commanded by God, and in chapter 31 the Lord spoke to him commanding him to avenge the Israelites of the Midianites and get set to die. Moses did as the Lord commanded and after the war against the Midianites, Moses also handled the sharing of the land as can be seen in Numbers 32, 33 & 34.

What does the word 'dogged' mean? It means obstinately determined, persistent, tenacious, perseverance. It means never giving up. The word 'loyalty' means the state of being faithful, being true to a person. When you bring the two words that is our message today it simply means 'obstinate determination to be true to a person. The man Moses is our case study in today's message. Moses encountered God at the Mountain of God and ever since always talked with God one on one, due to the impatient and annoying way the children of Israel complain he offended God in Numbers 20, when God commanded him to speak to the rock and instead he smote the rock with his rod. This act of his made God deny him entering the promised land. His relationship with God did not stop, God continued to talk to him and for everything the Lord commanded him to do or tell the people he did as directed. One would think that may be God will forgive him and allow him enter the promised land but as we can see that was not the case. On the hand Moses did not stop obeying and doing the will of God because God has said he will not enter the promised land. Rather Moses was true to God till the end.
This story of Moses' end left me wondering for days now, how many of us Christians will stay true to our faith if we found ourselves in Moses' situation? I bet a lot of us will give up. In case you don't get the scenario, here is an illustration; you were leading a team of professionals to bid for a contract and along the line you failed in fulfilling one of the conditions and the leader of the organization called your attention to it saying, that for this misconduct from you, your team will get the contract but you will not be a part of the team anymore. After the leader of the organization had pronounced his verdict on you, he still directed you on what must be done for the contract to come to your team. Will you carry out his orders knowing that you will no longer be a part of the team and as such you will not benefit from the contract?
The illustration i guess made it clearer, that was the situation of Moses at the time but he remained loyal to God. In recent times selfishness has become the bane of human co-existence, its all about me, me, me, immediately we realize there is nothing in it for us, we take our leave and abandon the ship to wreck. Today God is using the story of Moses to talk to us. It is high time we forgot self and did the will of God whether it benefits us or not. Remember God sees the end from the beginning and He knows best which is why Proverb says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

CONNECTING TO DIVINE GRACE OF GOD

Good day friends, it's another beautiful day the Lord has made and I believe we are rejoicing in it.
Yesterday was memorial for me, I woke up and started studying the Bible, I read about four chapters of the book of Numbers, strikingly I didn't get any ministration from the Holy Spirit, I only pondered on the stories till the end of the day and that is why I didn't post any message yesterday. I personally saw my situation yesterday as God telling me that I am nothing without Him. I therefore do not take it for granted the grace and privilege to hear from the Holy Spirit on daily basis.
Today's message like every Sunday is a message from the sermon in my church Omega Power Ministry and I pray you be blessed as you read through.

Our Bible passage is from  Acts 6:8, Ephesians 4:7. Grace is unearned ,undeserved mercy of God. It is God's mercy that makes God grant one grace.
IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT GRACE
  1. Grace means favor minus labor.
  2. Grace is promotion without qualifications.
  3. When grace speaks, protocols are suspended.
  4. When grace speaks, laws are broken.
  5. When grace speaks, educational qualifications become useless .
  6. When grace speaks, connections become useless. When you are connected to God's grace God becomes your connection.
  7. Grace is when God gives you what you don't deserve.
  8. The greatest sin on earth is no match for God's grace. It doesn't matter what your sins are when grace steps in, your life will not remain the same.
  9. Grace is a gift that costs the giver everything and costs nothing for the receiver.
  10. The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you.
  11. God's grace is no excuse to sin but rather a reason to love and serve God more.
  12. Just when the enemy is about to overwhelm you, God's grace will appear and take care of you.
  13. God's grace can convert your mess to message.
  14. 1Peter 5:10, After your season of suffering, God's grace will restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
  15. Sin is not the major reason people go to hell fire, but rejecting God's grace is the reason.
  16. God's grace unlocks the gates of heaven.
  17. God's grace meets us where we are but doesn't leave us where we are. Once you connect the grace of God you must be lifted.
  18. No matter how great your problems are, the grace of  God is greater than that problem.
  19. In God's garden of grace, even a broken tree, a dead tree can still beat fruits.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

WHAT DO YOU OFFER TO GOD?

Hello friends, how do you do? Its another beautiful day and i believe God is doing beautiful things in our lives, Hallelujah! Our message for today is a question that we all must answer in all honesty. My people (Ndi Igbo) say that 'when you greet the king for what he has done, he will do more.' Our bible reading today interestingly deals with the different types of offering one is expected to offer to God.
Our Bible reading is from Numbers 28:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 28:31 "Besides the continual burnt offering and its cereal offering, you shall offer them and their drink offering. See that they are without blemish." In our reading today, the Lord said to Moses, he should command the children of Israel to always offer their offerings in its due season. In the passage we see the different types of offering and they are;

  1. The offering by fire - Numbers 28:3
  2. The offering for the sabbath day - Numbers 28:9
  3. The offering for the beginning of the month - Numbers 28:11
  4. The passover offering - Numbers 28:16
  5. The first fruit offering - Numbers 28:26
In our memory verse, the Lord made it clear that the offering must be without blemish. We all remember the story of Cain and Abel, how Abel's offering was without blemish and Cain's offering was with blemish. The Lord had respect unto Abel and unto his offering but unto Cain the Lord had no respect - Genesis 4:4-5.
The message today is a question and as a matter of fact we really need to sit back and check if we have been offering to God sacrifices with blemish or not. You must note that sacrifices can come as money, material or service, so whichever one we prefer, have they been without blemish or not? As humans, when someone gives you a carelessly used item as a gift, how do you feel? Or when someone gives you a help that compounds your problem, how do you feel? If we humans do not feel good when we are given gifts with blemish, then imagine how God feels.
And one may ask, what is blemish? It is a mark of deformity or injury, it can be physical or moral. Blemish can also be defined as anything that diminishes the beauty or renders imperfect that which is well formed. By this definition we can say that offerings with blemish are the following;

  1. Money that is physically damaged.
  2. Offering that is intangible considering the blessings of God in one's life.
  3. Offering to God ill gotten wealth and money.
  4. Offering made with grudges.
  5. Offering made to show off.
  6. Offering made with malice.
I therefore ask you my beloved, what do you offer to God? Life is governed by principles, that is why what you sow is what you reap, what you give is what you receive. The offerings we make to God either in material or in service determines what comes to us from God. Remember it was the sacrifice that Solomon offered to God that caused God to bless him with wisdom and wealth - 1Kings 1:4-5. Be mindful what you offer to God.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

THE IMPARTIAL GOD

Good day people of God, its a beautiful day and i believe we are glad and rejoicing in it. Without wasting your time, i will quickly jump into the day's message. Our Bible reading for today is from Numbers 27:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 27:6 "And the Lord said to Moses, 'the daughters of Zelophehad are right; you shall give them possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren and cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them'."
To be impartial means to not favor one more than the other. In our today's reading, we read the story of the 'daughters of Zelophehad who had no son before he died. At the time Moses took the census of the children of Israel as commanded by God and also had given the portions of the land tribe by tribe. The daughters of Zelophehad approached Moses saying "why should the name of our father be taken away from his family because he had no son? Moses inquired of the Lord and the Lord answered as seen in our memory verse today.
The second part of our reading had the story of Joshua's appointment as the leader of the Israelites after Moses. In our today's reading, the Lord took Moses up to the Mount of Abarim, showed him the land He (God) had give to the Israelites. The Lord also told Moses that after seeing the land he shall die and Moses said to the Lord, "Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation." Moses gave God the chance to choose the man He deemed fit to lead the people of Israel and the Lord choose Joshua saying, "Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit and lay your hand upon him."
Hear me, all through the journey from Egypt Joshua has been an assistant to Moses, he was among the spies that went to spy the promised land but was not among those that brought the evil report. It was never recorded that Joshua went against his master Moses neither did he ever rebel against Moses knowing the type of temper Moses has and the fact that he is human and has the tendency to make mistakes. Joshua was loyal to his master to the end. You must also know that Joshua is from the tribe of Ephraim, going by the order of seniority it would not have been Joshua but God choose him.
One would ask, why did God choose Joshua, who would have managed the children of Israel better than the man that managed Moses. To be someone's assistant implies managing the person in virtually all ramification. If we understand the person of Moses we would appreciate Joshua his assistant. God does not appoint whom He has not tested. Joshua was obedient, humble, and efficient and these earned him the leadership position God gave him.
The impartiality of God denotes that God takes into consideration the minutest detail of our lives and that is why His judgment is unquestionable.
Have you put in so much in that job and your promotion is being denied?
Have you toiled honestly in that business and it refused to break even talk more of grow and expand?
I have good news for you, the impartial God that i serve must give you what is due to you in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

THE REPLACEMENT CAPABILITY OF GOD

Good morning people of God, its another beautiful day the Lord has made, we must rejoice and be glad in it. You must have realized by now that we are on a Biblical journey. In this journey we will be uncovering the nature of the God we serve through the encounters of the faithfuls as recorded in the Bible. We will also draw life lessons that will guide us in becoming  better children of God in all ramification.
The Bible reading for today is from Numbers 26:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 25:65 "For the Lord said of them, 'They shall die in the wilderness.' There was not a man of them except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun." Our memory verse clearly states that the Lord said that they shall die in the wilderness and they all died except Caleb and Joshua.
If you have been reading from me, you will remember the story in the post titled 'KNOWING THE MAGNITUDE OF YOUR STRUGGLE'. It is the story of the spies sent by Moses to go spy the promised land. They went and saw that all that was said about the land was true but they had an evil report which states that the inhabitants of the promised land are mighty and giants and the children of Israel are like ants before them, so it will be difficult for the Israelites to displace the inhabitants. On the other hand Caleb and Joshua said otherwise because they knew that with God they will overcome and possess the land Numbers 13:30. The evil report stirred up the people that they considered raising a leader to take them back to Egypt. They murmured against the Lord, their murmuring kindled God's anger, God told Moses that He will wipe them off the earth and raise a nation through Moses, Moses pleaded on the people's behalf , God heard the pleas of Moses but insisted that the people will not enter the promised land only their children.
In today's reading, we see God fulfilling His word, the Lord asked Moses and Eleazar to take census of the people from age Twenty and above, they did and the people numbered Six Hundred and One Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty men. Remember that when they were numbered in the wilderness, they were about Six Hundred Thousand, now here in the plains of Moab they are also Six Hundred and One Thousand.
The point am lead to make here is that, assuming God needed at least Six Hundred thousand men to carry out the Take-Over project of the promised land, He had it when He asked Moses to send men to spy the land, the men lost faith in God and got scared at sighting the Anaks. Forty years later, God raised another Six Hundred Thousand men who eventually carried out the project.
What has God laid in your heart to do? Have you started doing it? What are you waiting for? In so many cases God commands us to do a task, instead of getting started, we rather start analyzing the task and in doing so, we begin to identify challenges and before you know it the challenges you have observed takes a better part of you and you withdraw and never attend to the task. Then weeks or months later, you see someone doing the task and prospering and you feel like flogging yourself. If you have ever found yourself in such situation, today's message is for you.
The reality is that at different points the Lord gives people task, these tasks will challenge our personal strength, our faith in God, and as well in tackling the challenges make us wiser and stronger in faith. Until you attend to the task and have the experience you will never become that wise and strong man and prosperity demands wisdom and strength.
Our God can use any body to accomplish a purpose, so consider yourself privileged to be used by God and get onto the task and watch God celebrate you.
Till i come your way, remain blessed.

THE WILES OF THE ENEMY

Good day people of God, how is your day going? I had an early morning engagement, a seminar on The Impact of Trauma and Traumatic Experiences on Societal Health: An Initiative for Mental Health Wellness. It was very enlightening, i guess it will be a topic for another day. Let us quickly look at what the Lord is saying to us today.
Our Bible reading is from Numbers 25:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 25:16-18 "And the Lord said to Moses, Harass the Midianites and smite them; for they harassed you with their wiles, with which they beguiled you in the matter of Pe`or, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the prince of Midian, their sister, who was slain on the day of the plaque on account of Pe`or."

Wiles means practices for deception, ensnaring. It also means to turn away as by diversion. It means to be tricky. The Bible made us to understand that the devil, the enemy is roaming about and roaring like a wounded lion looking for whom to devour. The enemy is full of deceit, this he uses perfectly when the children of God is not in tune with the Holy Spirit, he first of all gets one carried away with things that should not really matter and when he confirms you have lost your mind, his manipulative tendency goes to work and this result in a child of God involved in devilish and malicious exercise.
As we see in our reading today, the children of Israel in their journey had got to Shettim and dwelt there. Apparently they were trying to relax and have some recreational activities and that landed in their playing harlot with the daughters of Moab. This play resulted in the children of Israel mingling with the Moabites, attending their ceremonies, eating & drinking food & wine sacrificed to the Moabites' gods and also bowing down to their gods. You see the chain, from simple play to idol worshiping.
The journey to our promised land is challenging because the enemy do not want to see us make it to our promised land, our place of glory, also the inhabitants of the promised land do not want to displaced even though they know that their time is up. So they will at all cost use their wiles to get one carried away to misbehave, just may be, with that God will lay off our case. The enemy knows that it is only sin that creates a barrier between God and man, so he will always use his wiles to get man to sin against God.
Brethren, I urge you today to be wise and mindful of the wiles of the evil one so you are not robbed of your divine blessings.

Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

WHEN GOD IS DETERMINED TO BLESS YOU

Good morning friends, its a beautiful day, the day of the Lord and we will rejoice and be glad in it. I want to appreciate the Holy Spirit of God that reveals His word on daily basis for our spiritual growth. I do not take it for granted the privilege God has given me to receive these deep understanding. I therefore pray for you as you come in contact with this message today that God will break all protocols for your sake and bless you richly in Jesus Name, Amen.
Our Bible reading for today is from Numbers 24:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 24:23 "Balaam concluded his messages by saying:'Alas who can survive unless God has willed it.'"
The Message today excites me, from our reading today you will realize that we are still on the story of Balak and Balaam. Now, after Balak set up seven alters in three different location expecting Balaam to go in and curse the children of Israel and the opposite was the case. Balaam then saw that it pleased God to bless Israel, he (Balaam) did not resort to divination but instead looked towards the people as they camped tribe by tribe. The Holy Spirit came upon him and he started delivering his message and blessed the Israelites.
Balaam for all the time Balak requested for him to curse the children of Israel has always performed divination to connect with the spirit to be able to foretell the future and see how he can curse the people, the Lord always commanded him to bless them. But when it dawned on Balaam that the Lord is determined to bless the Israelites, there was no need for divination instead the Holy Spirit came upon Balaam and God's blessings flowed like rivers of water from the mouth of Balaam. God do not bless the qualified but rather His blessings qualifies one, God does not take permission to bless anyone cos He had said in His word; "I will bless whom i will bless and i will curse whom i will curse." All we need to access His blessings is to believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
What is that big thing that all protocols must be observed for it to be a reality, hear me out; there is a God that do not observe protocols and He makes impossibility possible, that God is the God of this platform and my God, believe in Him and you will testify.

Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

HOW TO GET OUR EXPECTATIONS FULFILLED

Good day friends, hope you are all doing well. It's another Sunday and I am bringing you the Sermon at today's service and I pray you will be richly blessed as you read through.
Our Bible verses for the message are; Genesis 12:1&4, Luke 6:47-48, to have your expectations fulfilled in this 2019, you must act on the foundation of faith. Abram's encounter with God in Genesis 12:1&4 is a clear illustration of building on the foundation of faith.  What does it mean to build on the foundation of faith? It means to act outside logic. To get your expectations fulfilled, then we must take the word of God and act on it without logic. For your expectation to be fulfilled become foolish for Godwin 2019.
When we talk of foundation that will get our expectations fulfilled, Hebrew 13:16, Hebrew 11:11, we must know that without faith it is impossible to please God. As God said; "this is my beloved son in whom am well pleased, hear him." This therefore implies that because we have faith we occupy the position that Jesus occupies in God, for with faith it is possible to please God.
Building on faith foundation makes us blessing commanders Luke 11:8, Romans 14:23, Mark 2:4.
Just having faith is not enough, there must be a step taken.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

THE UNSEEN BATTLES

Good evening friends, it's so wonderful to connect with you at this time. My absence for the day and half is not intentional, it is as the spirit led me. Let us quickly look at the message for the day, 'the unseen battles'.
The Bible reading for today comes from Numbers 22-23, and the memory verse is Numbers 23:21, I will paraphrase it, it says, "I have not beheld iniquity in Jacob neither have I seen perverseness in Israel. The Lord is with him and the cry of the king is among him."
The story in the Bible reading for today is an interesting one. The children of Israel as they moved, after taking over the Amorites'kingdom continued moving and camped in Moab, Balak the son Ziphor in seeing them got worked up and sent for Prophet Balaam to come and curse the children of Israel so that he(Balak) will fight them and chase them out of the land. The Prophet refused to honor Balak's call but upon Balak's insistence God told Balaam to go with them but must do whatever the Lord commands him. Prophet Balaam finally answered the call the Lord stopped him on his way and reemphasised that he must do whatever the Lord command. Balak was very excited at seeing Balaam, very ready to go to war against Israel. Balaam ordered him to set up seven alters, which he did and Balaam set to officiate in his office as the prophet of the Lord, the Lord ordered him to bless the people, Balak was disappointed and insist they perform the sacrifice again but in another place, Balaam agreed, the exercise was repeated, same result till the third time, same result.
The Israelites did not know that their existence in the camp at Moab was discomforting to Balak that Balak had to engage the services of Balaam to curse them. Although the Israelites see their situation at that point as discomforting yet Balak could not sleep.
We are most times in the situation that Israel found themselves and yet we say God is not answering our prayers. If we can see the unseen battles the Lord fight for us we will understand why we must obey Him.
I pray and urge you my readers to take some time and praise God for the unseen battles He fights for us.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

STOOPING TO CONQUER

Good morning people of God, it's a beautiful day and the day of the Lord, we must rejoice and be glad in it. Whatever may be challenging your peace is not enough to stop your joy, so rejoice it's a great day.
The message today is a powerful one and our reading is from Numbers 21:1-end and our memory verse is from Numbers 21:24 "And Israel slew him with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as to the Ammonites; for Jazer was the boundary of the Ammonites." In today's reading the children of Israel had started moving from the wilderness of Zin, they were attacked by the King of Arad, God gave them victory even though the king of Arad initially captured them, they cried unto God and He harkened to their voice and gave them victory. They continued their journey, as usual they murmured against God and Moses, God sent serpent in their midst and they realized their mistake, came to Moses and confessed and the Lord gave Moses the antidote to the serpent bite. They continued on their journey and got to the region of Moab, there they sent messengers to the king of the Amorites asking for permission to pass through their land. The king refused and instead came to fight them.
We are used to the adage that says "the gentility of a lion doesn't mean cowardice", a lot of times people misunderstand the pursuit of peace to mean cowardice but fail to understand that the pursuit of peace is for a win win end and peace of mind. Today the story of the Israelites showed that God is an impartial God, He expects us at all times to do the needful. In the case of the Israelites they pursued peace by asking for permission but when the king refused and instead fought them God gave them victory and they possessed the land.
Are you having a stubborn enemy who prefers war instead of peace as long as you have tried to broker peace and the enemy is fighting, hold on to God for He will give you total Victory in Jesus name Amen.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

THE DANGER OF LOSING CONTROL OF ONE'S TEMPER

Good morning people of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. The message for today excites me and I pray it will excite you and help you in becoming a better person the moment you come in contact with it.
Our Bible passage for today is from Numbers 20:1-end and the memory verse is Numbers 20:12 "Because you did not believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."
The people of Israel moved into the wilderness of  Zin, there was no water there and the people once again attacked Moses and Aaron saying all manner of ugly things to them. Moses and Aaron left their presence and went to the door of the tent of meeting and fell on their faces. The glory of the Lord appeared and the Lord told Moses to take the rod, gather the people and tell the rock before their eyes to yield water. Moses gathered the people but instead of talking to the rock, he hit the rock with his rod twice saying; "hear now you rebels, shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?  This was the opposite of what God commanded Moses to do.
The reality is that Moses believe God, he has had encounters with God in many occasions and saying he didn't believe that water will come out of the rock by mere speaking to the rock is mere fallacy. Also his words at the point he struck the rock indicates that Moses have had it with the people and couldn't control his temper at the time. Unfortunately in God's business your feelings doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is absolute obedience.
It is not that you cannot feel good or bad but whatever your feelings may be, obeying God's command comes first before that feeling.
Today, God has put us in charge of one thing or the other and sometimes due to our feelings we neglect our responsibility and disobey God's command. Because Moses disobeyed God's command, he ended up not getting into the promised land. Thus, the inability to control our temper and obey God's directives robs us of our blessings.
How well do you control your temper? Controlling your temper is the key to enjoying your relationship with God and man.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

AVOIDING CONTAMINATION

Good day friends, how is your day going? Hope all is well. I must apologize for the lateness of today's post, I pray and promise this doesn't happen again. My mission with this blog post is to encourage my readers to start every day with the word of God and divine understanding so God willing this will not repeat itself.
Today's message came as an advice and also a warning. Our Bible passage for today is Numbers 19:1-end and our memory verse is from Leviticus 19:19 "Yeah shall keep my statues, thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee."
To be contaminated means to be defiled, to be polluted, to be corrupted. In simple English to be contaminated means to be made bad. There are different ways something or someone can be contaminated and the most popular method is exposure. There is a popular adage that says "birds of the same feather flock together" in retrospect when a bird that is not of the same feather appears it somehow conforms to being of the same feather with every other bird so that they can flock together.
In our Bible reading today, God took time to explain the process of purification and warned in verse 22 of that chapter that "and whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean", little wonder as a kid my mum will always warn me to be careful the company I keep.
Our memory verse is another commandment of God to the children of Israel regarding how they associate with the people inhabiting the promised land. These people God knows them too well and their being idolaters even when God gave them the opportunity of living with Abraham and witnessing the relationship Abraham had with God, they did not change and turned to God, they remained evil. It is obvious that if the children of Israel mingled with them freely they would have somehow managed to corrupt them (Israelites) and God doesn't want that for His people.
Today we have the likes of the Amorites, Jebusites, Philistines among us, they do not see evil for what it is. They enjoy doing things the wrong way, they are making conscious effort to get everyone be like them and God is commanding us just like He did with the Israelites to avoid mingling with them so that we are not contaminated.
The grace of God be with us as we ensure to be away from being contaminated in Jesus name Amen.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

THE LORD'S DELIVERANCE

Good morning people of God, hope you had a restful weekend? Am always excited whenever am writing my insights from the word of God and I do not take it for granted the privilege God has given me to have access to the divine understanding of His words. Today is another special day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Today's reading is taken from Numbers 18:1-end and the memory verse is Isaiah 49:24-25 "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus said the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away; and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children." Hallelujah!
In today's reading we see that after the Lord has confirmed to the children of Israel that He called Aaron to His service, He put Aaron in charge of the tribe of Levi to bear iniquity in connection to the sanctuary and to bear iniquity in connection with his priesthood. God also gave Aaron his portion which is the tithe and whatever is kept of the offering made to God. We can see that in God's service, there is responsibility to be fulfilled and compensation to be received.
Our memory verse is the most exciting part of my message today, the Lord's deliverance, one will wonder why this message this morning? This message is important to me because in life we sometimes think we are not knowing that we are in bondage and needs deliverance and the reality of life is that life is a struggle, either you are pursuing something or something is after you. In most cases we are held down but still think all is well. Our memory verse today clearly states two types of captives; they are the prey of the mighty and the lawful captive.
The good news therefore is that the Lord said whether you are the prey of the mighty or a lawful captive He will contend with him that contend with you.
Being the prey of the mighty simply implies that you do not have to offend anyone for them to be after you, they are after you just because they feel they can crush you and so they go for it. On the other hand the lawful captive is the one who has knowingly or unknowingly given the enemy reason or legal grounds to be after you. The Bible says the devil is like a roaring lion always looking for whom to devour and his strategy for achieving that is by watching out for when one sins and use that as a legal ground to destroy the person.
We therefore have to be careful not to give the enemy the legal ground to destroy us while we rest in the Lord's assurance to contend with them that contend with us.
Till I come your way again, remain delivered.

LOCATING YOUR DIVINE LOCATION

I greet in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you are having a good day, for those that went to church or are still in church  I believe it's glorious being in God's presence. Am so excited to share with you my church's today's message by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Gift. May you be richly blessed as you come in contact with this message.
Our Bible reading is from Jeremiah 18:1-2, 1Kings 17:8-9, Mark 8:22-26
Location is very very significant to God and also to the devil. That is why there are somethings God cannot just do anywhere. 99% of success is correct location. When God asked "Adam where are you?" it is not because He was not seeing Adam but because Adam has left his divine location. Just like a cow cannot be blessed inside the river so also a fish cannot be blessed on top of a tree. Location is very important. No matter how intelligent you are, a sinner in a wrong location and a righteous man in a wrong location are birds of the same feather. Everybody have a divine location. Many people's problem can be traced to satanic location. Whenever you're relocated to a wrong location, you experience pain.
Your location in life determines your allocation in life. You must be where you should be to become a person you should be. Your location determines your outcome and result. What to do and where to be is a mother of whom to be. Wrong location is the mother of all frustration. Once you are in the wrong location you will remain frustrated. Your location determines whom you see and who sees you.
There are some experience/blessing/breakthroughs attached to a specific location. Time has come for you to adjust and be rooted where God has located you. You must note that; you need to do an honest assessment of yourself to know where you are in life. Secondly before you go into any business, prayerfully ask God for the right location.
Pray these prayers;

  1. Every satanic gang up to relocate me out of my divine location, scatter by fire in Jesus name, Amen .
  2. Every wealth that has been relocated out of me, by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ be relocated back to me in Jesus name Amen.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

OBEYING GOD'S COMMANDMENT

Good morning people of God. How are you doing today? I pray that all be well with you.  Our Bible passage today is from Numbers 17:1-end and our memory verse is from Deuteronomy 28:13 "And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail, and thou shalt be above only, and not be beneath: if that thou Harken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them." Obeying God's commandments remains our ticket to living a fulfilled life, how much of God's commandments are you obeying?
The Bible passage for today is the story of how God confirmed to the children of Israel that Aaron was called by Him and with that God put an end to the murmuring of the people. You may wonder why did the children of Israel had to murmur to the extent that God had to prove to them that He chose Aaron? It is because they did not trust God. Trust breeds absolute obedience. You can only obey whom you trust. Moses trusted God, when God asked him to use the rod in his hands on the red sea, he obeyed and did as God commanded him, the red sea parted and the people walked on dry land in the middle of the sea and the Egyptian that came after them were swallowed by the sea, was that no being above? When God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his promised son Isaac, he obeyed and that singular act made him the father of faith. Today we as Christians claims Abraham's blessings, is that not being above?  When God commanded Joshua to surround the wall of Jericho and sound the trumpet instead of shooting a bazooka, Joshua obeyed God and the wall of Jericho came down, is that not being above?
We can see from all the instances mentioned that the command most times is not the expected command thinking logically but obedience to that command brings unimaginable success.
The word of God says that God's ways are not our ways, that is why instead of paying back evil with evil, God commands us to pay back evil with good and went further to explain that when we do so we are only putting coal of fire on the one who did evil to us, we may ask how?
In this new year, can we trust God and obey His commandments and watch our situation change for the best? God is the only one who sees the end from the beginning, yes He gave us brain so we can reason and be smart but that doesn't mean we know it all. The earlier we begin to depend on God's wisdom by obeying His commandments the better our lives will become .
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

MEEKNESS

Good morning people of God. How are you doing today? I trust that you are basking in the glory of God. The Lord is indeed good and am experiencing it. I feel very excited every morning to share with you the understanding of the word of God as the spirit leads and today is not an exception.
Today's reading is from Numbers 16:1-end and our memory verse is coming from Numbers 12:3 "Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all men that were on the face of the earth." What is meekness?
Meekness is a state of being meek, one will ask what does it mean to be meek? To be meek means to be patient under injuries, to nurture in gentleness and humility. The bible in our memory verse described Moses as a very meek person and he was the most meek man on the face of earth at the time, this quality of Moses enabled him to manage the children of Israel with their impatient and irrational attitude and it was recorded for him as greatness.
Our world today is filled with impatient and irrational people and we as Christians must in one way or the other have dealings with them, do we have to treat them with meekness or not? The answer is in the bible reading for today, Moses on many occasion was faced with the children of Israel challenging the authority God has bestowed on him. One of those encounters was when his own blood sister Miriam and Aaron challenged his authority, in this case God Himself dealt with Miriam and she ended up with leper and Moses pleaded on her behalf and the leprosy only lasted for seven days, another is Korah, Dathan and Eliab the three had a company of Two Hundred and Fifty people who claimed to also be holy just like Moses, in their case Moses saved the congregation of the children of Israel and let Korah and his team face God's wrath. It will interest you to know that God intended to wipe away all the children Israel because of what Korah and his men did but Moses intervened. The most striking one is the case of the children of Israel murmuring against Moses and Aaron after Korah and his men were wiped off, God sent a plaque to wipe them off the earth but Moses intervened, sent Aaron to make atonement for the people. What a meek man Moses was!
You will agree with me that someone who is not meek that has a close relationship with God like Moses had would not have tolerated the children of Israel as much as Moses did.
To be meek is not an easy thing, it takes the grace of God but it is rewarding in the end. I therefore pray for you today that the spirit of meekness will possess you in Jesus name, Amen.
Absence of meekness breeds intolerance, wars and excess violence. In our bid to prove to the next person we cannot be taken for granted we shed innocent blood and maim our fellow human beings. The absence of meekness is why relationships are suffering in recent times especially marriages. It is also why our young ones are drifting away int cultism and engaging in violent activities. May the Lord pour upon His children the spirit of meekness in Jesus name, Amen
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

THE POWER OF PAIN

good morning people of God, we bless God for bringing us into a new day and the blessings of this day shall not pass us by in Jesus name, Amen.
Today i am bringing you a message from my father in the Lord Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Gift and i pray this message blesses your life richly in Jesus name, Amen.
The bible verses are taken from Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; upon Him was chastisement that made us whole, and with His stripes we are healed."  and Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." What is pain? Pain is a feeling of being hurt, it means to do damage on someone.
IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT PAIN
  1. Pain is universal.
  2. Pain has no respect for your age.
  3. Pain does not discriminate.
  4. It is not possible to pass through life without experiencing one or two kinds of pain.
  5. Pain differ from person to person.
  6. Pain is either acute or chronic.
  7. You can stumble upon pain.
  8. Pain is a signal that something is wrong or that thing needs attention.
  9. There is something known as spiritual pain.
  10. A lot of people turn to relievers of pain instead of the killer. To relieve the pain is a temporal solution but to kill the pain is a permanent solution.
  11. Pain is a teacher.
  12. Pain is our guardian to watch over us.
  13. Pain is an adviser.
  14. Pain is indifferent of your sentiment.
  15. Pain is arrogant because it will not go without making a point.
  16. Pain can make you better or bitter.
  17. Pain can make you weaker or stronger.
  18. Some pain are directly related to our behavior, there are different ways we can deal with pain by not being aggressive.
  19. Pain is a teacher.
  20. Not all pain is as a result of sin.
  21. Pain prompts one to take action.
  22. Painful situation can make one to make sacrifice.
  23. A lot of believers acquire extra power when you encounter pain.
  24. Pain has made many people to rely on the power of God.
  25. You can have pain three ways; Godly way, satanic way or self inflicted pain.
  26. Pain from God brings blessings but pain from the enemy brings loss.
  27. Pain will only listen to one voice; the Blood of Jesus Christ.
What does pain mean to you, to some people it is a stepping stone to their greatness while to some people it is their end. How you handle pain is a reflection of your understanding of the power and purpose of pain in life. The only sure antidote of pain is Jesus Christ, seek Him and believe in Him and your pain will become your power.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

YOUR CONFESSION, YOUR SITUATION

Good morning people of God, its that time again when we say Hallelujah to God Almighty for the gift of life, the miracle of sleeping and waking up, His mercies and goodness upon our lives. Its a beautiful day, the day of the Lord and we must rejoice and be glad in it.
In my excitement, i bring your way again this morning a powerful revelation from the word of God and our Bible reading today is from Numbers 14:1-end, our memory verse is from Numbers 14:28 "Say to them, 'As i live, says the Lord, what you have said in my hearing I will do to you." What do you say to the hearing of God?
Our today's reading is the continuation of yesterday's story, it is centered on the consequences of the evil report the spies gave to Moses and the children of Israel. Moses sent the leaders of the twelve tribes of Israel to go out and spy the promised land, they went and came back saying that the land is good but the people that dwell in the land are mighty and will crush them because they (children of Israel) are like ants before the inhabitants of the promised land. There are two men among the spies that said the opposite and they are; Joshua and Caleb. Upon hearing this evil report the children of Israel started murmuring saying that it would be better for them to go back and die in the land of Egypt, they suggested to elect a captain who will lead them back to the land of Egypt. On hearing this God's anger was kindled, God said to Moses that He is tired of the murmuring of this people, that even after all that He has done for them to know that He is God, that He has called them out to be their God and them His people, they still do not have faith in Him. God went as far as telling Moses that He will smote them and raise a people through Moses, but Moses pleaded with God making a case for the children of Israel saying the the Egyptians will say the because God was not able to get them into the promised land He had to kill them in the wilderness. God heard Moses and instead smote all of them that murmured against Him and preserved the lives of their children and also the lives of Caleb and Joshua.
Our memory verse today is worthy of note as it explicitly declares that what the people said to the hearing of God is what God will do to them. They said its better for them to die and God granted them their wish. Caleb said let us go up at once and occupy the land and Caleb got into the promised land and occupied it. In life, we have big dreams, sometimes we feel and come close to bringing our dreams to reality but there are always a big obstacle on our way to achieving our set goals, when we get to this point, what is our confession? Do you confess positive or negative?
Here are points to note regarding our confession;

  1. Words have life and are powerful
  2. what you confess is what you possess
  3. Your confession is a reflection of your faith
  4. Your confession is a demonstration of how big your God is
When Isaac asked his father Abraham, where is the ram for the sacrifice and Abraham answered that the Lord will provide the ram for the sacrifice, did God not provide the ram? When Moses said to the children of Israel that the Egyptians they see today they will see no more, did they ever see those Egyptians again? Were the Egyptians not swallowed by the Red sea?
What are you saying concerning that difficult situation? My beloved, be careful what you confess for your confession is always your situation.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed as you confess God's goodness to that difficult situation.

KNOWING THE MAGNITUDE OF YOUR STRUGGLE

Hello everyone, i greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Its a beautiful Tuesday morning and i pray that the Almighty God will make everything around beautiful today and forever in Jesus Name, Amen.
Let us quickly look at what the Lord is saying to us this morning, our reading is from Numbers 13:1- end and our memory verses is Numbers 13:17-20 "Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, ;Go up into the Negeb yonder, and go up into the hill country, 18 and see what the land is, and whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, whether they are few or many, 19 and whether the land that they dwell in is good or bad, and whether the cities that they dwell in are camps or strongholds, 20 and whether the land is rich or poor, and whether there is wood in it or not. Be of good courage and bring some fruits of the land.' Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes."
This passage of the Holy Bible is a very popular one and it is usually and widely preached based on faith, today the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to a great understanding in this same passage and that is the need for one to know the magnitude of his/her struggle.
What is Magnitude? Magnitude is the extent of dimension or size. In wars, spies are sent to waring countries or kingdoms to know the capacity of their army. In the underworld information is one of the major bargaining chip, in business the in-depth knowledge of a business contributes to the success of that business. This also is the case in spiritual struggle, we Christians are quick to conclude that our problem is the devil and so believes prayer is all that is needed but the truth is that in as much as prayer is the master key, there is also the human factor in dealing with our spiritual struggle.
Moses had already been told by God that He (God) will wipe away all the inhabitants of the promised land which is why Moses commanded the spies to be of good courage. He said that to them so they don't get scared of the kind of people they will see. This therefore means their report was their judgment on themselves and they served their term. All Moses needed from that exercise was information that will guide him on how to organize them whilst he awaits God's instruction and also so they can appreciate what God is about to do for them considering the fact that they are no match to the inhabitants of the promised land.
How well do you know and understand the magnitude of your struggle? One way to understanding the magnitude of your struggle is by reading the word of God and meditating on it as the Lord instructed Joshua in Joshua 1:8 "This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success."
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF CONTEMPT

Hello everyone, good morning! I greet you all in Jesus name. I am grateful to God for the miracle of sleeping and waking up and i do not take it for granted, am also grateful to God for the revelation of His word and i pray that as you come in contact with this word that you will be richly blessed.
Today's message is powerful and serves as a warning. our Bible reading is from Numbers 12:1-end and the memory verses are Numbers 12:6-8 "And He said, 'hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision, I speak with him in a dream. 7 Not so with my servant Moses; he is entrusted with all my house. 8 With him, I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in dark speech; and he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"
Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Which God's servant are you speaking against?

Dealing with the spirit of contempt is a very serious issue especially in these last days where there are so many people claiming to be God's servant. What does it mean to be contemptuous? To be contemptuous means manifesting or expressing contempt or disdain. It means to be scornful, haughty or insolent. Bearing this definition in mind, it is therefore easy to understand what the spirit of contempt is and its workings. The spirit of contempt is judgmental and easily condemns. In our Bible reading this morning we see how Aaron and Miriam judged and condemned Moses for marrying a Cushite and as such questioned if God truly spoke to him. It will interest you to know that this incident happened forty years after Moses had led the children of Israel out of the land Egypt passing through the middle of Red sea, after God has fed them with manner in the wilderness of Sinai for forty years. They witnessed all that the Lord did to the children Israel through Moses and they still questioned if God truly spoke to Moses just because Moses is married to a cushite woman.
The spirit of contempt debases one, it withdraws one's sense of reasoning and it is a terrible spirit to contend with. This spirit when it gets into one and succeed in manipulating the person kindles God's anger against that person as we can see in the reading Numbers 12:9-10. Little wonder we are warned in 1 Chronicles 16:22 and Psalm 105:15 "Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm." I believe Miriam story is a clear case of the consequence. Also the spirit of contempt is not only after the men of God, it is also after instituted authorities, we must know that it is also God that places people in position of power, that was demonstrated clearly in the case of Nebuchadnezzar. Therefore people of God rather than be contemptuous towards the Men of God and people in places of authority we should always pray for them.
Thus, to deal with the spirit of contempt one should find the purpose for which God has brought him/her to life and pay attention to it. Secondly, one should always pray for people in places of authority and God's servants in their midst.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed and bind the spirit of contempt.

MOVING TO YOUR NEXT LEVEL

Good morning people of God. Today is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it, I am already rejoicing, how about you? Today's message is today's church sermon from the Resident Pastor of Omega Power Ministries Headquarters, Port Harcourt. I pray you will be richly blessed as you read and digest the message.
What does it mean to move to the next level?
To move to the next level means;

  1. To make big progress.
  2. Forward development.
  3. Changing to a higher level.
  4. Radical expansion.
  5. Penetrating the defence of your enemies and recovering all that belongs to you that has been stolen by the enemy .
Who are the  enemies of your breakthrough?
The enemies of our breakthrough are evil powers and they are;

  1. Powers that say no to your breakthroughs.
  2. Powers that gather themselves together to kill you.
  3. Satanic immigration officer mounted at the gate of your breakthrough.
  4. Powers contending for your victory.
  5. Powers that are bent on returning you or making sure you remain in poverty.
  6. Powers of the night that manipulate breakthroughs through dreams.
  7. Powers distributing your name for evil.
  8. Powers that make your divine helpers forget you at the critical period.
  9. Powers that waste your opportunities.
  10. Powers that rejoice over your failures.
To move to your next level, one therefore must hold onto God and His words. Above all, you must repent of your sins and surrender to Almighty God.
Till I come your way again, remain blessed.

COMPLAIN, THE DESTROYER

Good morning people of God, i am so excited to share the word of God today with you and i pray that as you come in contact with this understanding that your life will change for the better.
Today's reading is taken from Numbers 11:1-end and our memory verse is Numbers 11:1 "And the people complained in the hearing of the Lord of their misfortunes; and when the Lord heard it, His anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying part of the camp."
What is complain and why do people complain? To complain means to utter expression of grief, pain, regret etc. It means to lament, to find fault, to murmur. People complain when they are not satisfied with a situation or circumstance, they complain when in discomfort or pain. However complain is not a peasant exercise.
The children of Israel were slaves in the land of Egypt for Four Hundred and Thirty years, God remembered them and sent Moses to go deliver them from the hands of Pharaoh and the people of Egypt and take them to the Land He (God) promised their father Abraham. While they were on their way to the promised land they experienced little difficulties. These difficulties were basically food, meat, water, which is the normal challenge in a journey and because of these difficulties they complained and the Lord heard and that kindled the Lord's anger.
The truth revealed in this passage is that;

  1. Complain kindles the Lord's anger.
  2. Complain shows ingratitude
  3. When we complain, we grow blind eyes towards the things God has beautified our lives with
  4. Complain robs one of good feeling and leaves one a bitter person.
The children of Israel while in the land of Egypt were slaves, lived in deprivation and subjected to hard and menial jobs. Salvation came from God for them to be liberated and given a land they will call their own, where they will be citizens and live in liberty. Rather than being grateful to God for delivering them they were bothered with the temporary challenges they faced as they journeyed to their promised land.
In reaching and possessing our promised land, there will always be difficulties and challenges, its never going to be easy but that does not mean good things are not also happening on that journey. It is therefore important for one to pay attention to the good things happening in that journey and appreciate God than complain about the challenges. The challenges are there to make us stronger and wise, they are there to complete our transformation and prepare us for our new status.
Have you been busy complaining about your misfortunes? Have you tried to take into account the good things that have happened alongside the misfortunes you complain about? Are the good things not worthy of being grateful for? Today is another opportunity for you to realize God's goodness and be grateful.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

MY CHARACTER, MY ASSET

Good morning people of God, this morning i want to share a message from my father in the Lord Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Gift titled "My Character, My Asset." I pray the message will richly bless you as it did bless me.
Character is a moral principle. Character is a sum of the traits in a person both positive and negative. It is what distinguishes one. It is your personality. It is not something you are born into rather you grow into character. When you loose money nothing is lost but when you loose character everything is lost. Character is what you are under pressure and under temptation.

IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT CHARACTER
  1.  Only you can damage your character and only you can change your character.
  2. Character can not be bought with money.
  3. Only men of good character are trusted and respected.
  4. No man is better than his character.
  5. Bad character is the legal ground the enemy uses to fight the children of God.
  6. Ability with gift take you to the top but only good character can keep you there.
  7. Character determines your destiny.
  8. Character can close or open the gate of heaven.
  9. Character can take you from grass to grace or from grace to grass.
  10. Character can destroy your relationship especially one that can promote you.
  11. Your character can make you to meet or miss your Moses
  12. Character can turn friends to foes or foes to friends.
  13. If you don't attend to your character, you may miss your mark.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO
In case you have realized that your character is not at its best, here are things to do to change it for the better;
  1. You must first of all accept that you have a bad character
  2. You must repent and change your bad character.
  3. Ask God to reveal that character that is robbing you of God's blessings.
  4. Refuse to accommodate any bad character in your life.
I listened to this message on the   22nd July, 2018 and ever since my life took a new turn, i was before this date a temperamental person, i get angry so easily and when am angry i can say the unthinkable. Little did i know that this character was constantly robbing me of God's blessings. I was constantly loosing good and prosperous relationships, i heard this message and i prayed fervently for God to reveal that bad character that robs me of my blessings. God revealed it to me and took my memory back to points where i missed great career opportunities due to anger and rudeness. After praying, i started paying attention to my temper and watching what i say and by the grace of God today, i have over 80% control of my temper and my career took a quantum leap between September to December 2018. Am not there yet but by the grace of God the remaining 20% of my temper will definitely come under my control and i will not miss my mark.
If God did it for me, He can do it for your. Its another year of opportunities and God's blessings, do not let your character be in the way of your restoration and promotion.
Till i come your way again, remain blessed.

GOD'S TIMING

Good morning lovely people of God. Am so excited with today's message and i pray that this message blesses your life abundantly. Our passage is from Numbers 9:1-end, our memory verse is taken from Numbers 9:23 "At the command of the Lord they encamped; and at the command of the Lord they set out; they kept the charge of the Lord at the command of the Lord by Moses."
In this passage we read that on the day Moses was done setting up the tabernacle, the cloud covered the tabernacle of the tent of the testimony. This cloud is over the tabernacle in the day and in the evening its like the appearance of fire till morning, whenever the cloud is taken up from over the tent the people set out while when the cloud settle down on the tent in any place, there the people of Israel encamped. Interestingly if it takes a month before the cloud is taken up from the tent the people will remain encamped for the whole month until the cloud is taken up before they can set out.
The cloud as we can see became a sign for the people in knowing when to move and when and where to settle down, timing! The Bible in Ecclesiastes 3:11a says " He has made everything beautiful in its time." Time is defined to be the period at which any definite event occurred. In our lives, at different points we have set time for certain events, as a kid there is a set time for school, there is a set time to start earning a living, there is a set time to be married and have kids. These times are regulated by the society and when we find ourselves running behind time in meeting up with societal expectations we feel like we have failed, we most time get desperate and sometimes ashamed that we begin to hide from our peers. Today, i bring you good news and that is; that the accurate time keeper is God and His time is the best time. You may say that sometimes God comes late, but i tell you today that;

  1. God does not come late, His time is the best time.
  2. God's ways are not like man's ways that is why a day for the Lord could mean a thousand years for man while a thousand years for man is only a day for God.
  3. God is a God of season until its your season it is not yet your time.
  4. God comes late when He wants to come big.
  5. Time is not of essence when God is the driver of your life.
When God is the driver of your life what matters is His will, in doing His will He perfects everything that concerns you at His own time which is always the right time. Today, i ask you; have you aligned yourself with the will of God? Remember the Bible says 'it is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that showeth mercy', you may be the best there is in your profession but when you don't align yourself with the will of God you can never meet those deadlines. Today is another opportunity to align yourself with the will of God. In aligning yourself with the will of God, you begin to understand the time and season and also know what to do in every season. Just like we put on heavy clothes during winter because we understand the season and its effect so also when we know the Lord's season we will pray the right prayers, have the right attitude and go to the right places.
Till i come your way again remain blessed.

PORTION FOR SERVICE

I greet you all in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and savior. Today i will be bringing to our consciousness the spiritual dimension of what and why we receive what we receive from God. Our Bible passage is from Numbers 7-8 and our memory verse will be from Numbers 7:5 "Accept these from them, that they may be used in doing the service of the tent of meeting, and give them to the Levites, to each man according to his service."
Looking at the entire passage we see that the children of Israel brought offerings to the Lord after Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle. The Lord asked Moses to receive their offering and give to the Levites, each man according to his service. The big question i have for my readers today is what is your service in the Lord's vineyard? Do you know that there is so much work to be done in the Lord's vineyard? What do you understand is the Lord's vineyard? For some people they think the Lord's vineyard is only the church premises, but that is not true. Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's and fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein." From this passage it is crystal clear that the earth is the Lord's vineyard, thus the earth and everything in it both living things and non-living things. Knowing that the earth is the Lord's vineyard, can you now pinpoint your service in the Lord's vineyard? It may interest you to know that you are alive in the land of the living for a purpose, have you discovered the purpose? Also knowing your purpose for living and fulfilling it attracts incentives from God, are you aware?
Today my dear people of God is another opportunity for you to discover your purpose for living and the good news is that there is a portion for every service. The Lord can not put you in charge of anything and not provide you with all that is needed remember His promise in Hebrews 13:5b "for He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee."
Remain purposeful and blessed till Jesus comes, Shalom!
