2019 WELCOME NOTE

Happy New year people of God, i thank God for bringing us into this new year. We are not more holy than those that did not make it neither are we more righteous but His grace has made it possible that we made it into this New year.
If You are reading this post, it means you made it and God preserved your life for a purpose. This new year is another opportunity for you to fulfill the purpose for which the Lord has preserved your life. In this opportunity and grace of God it is important for us to know what to arm ourselves with and they are as the Bible says in Ephesians 6:13-18, the list is as follows;

1. Truth: the word of God says in Ephesians 6:14, you should put truth on as belt. We all know that belt puts one together in any given apparel, thus when truth becomes your belt, your life will definitely come together and have a defined shape.
2. Righteousness: the Bible puts it this way;"put on the breastplate of righteousness." Breastplate is an armor plate that protects the chest. This therefore means that righteousness protects and defends.
3. Gospel: as the Bible recommends; "and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." We are advised to put on the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which is also the good news and the gospel of peace as shoes. A shoe is defined as a covering for the human foot, this means that the good news which we wear as shoes becomes a covering for our feet, that we march serpents and scorpions and nothing shall by any means harm us.
4. Faith: according to the Bible faith is a shield that that quench the flaming darts of the evil one. Faith in God serves as a shock absorber that absorbs all the disappointments, failures and discouragements that are part of the building blocks of our accomplishing the purpose for which the Lord has preserved our live till this year.
